Art Work Questions
Q: Who does your art work?
A: Faith Varvara does all the art work for our sweaters, pins, stickers, tote bags and pillows, plush... We do not purchase pre-made designs. You can see her concept art on her Instagram site @faithvarvara
Q: Do you take art suggestions?
A: Of course we love getting suggestions. We also love to see your comments on any of our art concepts. Look to @faithvarvara. Your likes and comments help us decide what and how we will produce our products.
Q: Do you use social media?
A: Yes!!! You can follow us on Instagram @faithvarvara and @trendy_not. Be sure to follow both so you can see any of the concept art that Faith is creating and to get information on pre-order, Kickstarters and contests. This is also a great place to find out what conventions will will be attending.
Q: Bootleg and Fan Art
A: We only sell our product on our website and Trendy Not Kickstarter. Any other product sold is Bootleg. Please do not purchase this as it effects our ability to create and distribute our products. By supporting Bootleg stores you are contributing to the theft products and designs that artist have works very hard to create.
A: We love Fan Art. Please do not sell it and please do not take credit for its original creation. Any fan art should have original credit given to Trendy Not or Faith Varvara.
Merchandise Questions:
Q: How do your sweaters fit?
A: Our sweaters tend to fit on the large side. We have provided a size chart with each sweater but know that still can be confusing. Feel free to contact us by email if you would like any more information.
Q: Is the plush your own creation?
A: Yes. We design our own plush now.
Q: Where do you get your sweaters printed?
A: We purchase all our sweaters in Canada and have them printed locally in Calgary, AB. I would like to give a special thanks to our printer as we are not an easy customer to deal with. Our full color art work is quite advanced and we are very picky on quality.
As for our Tofu Knit sweater we designed it our self but had it manufactured in China.
Payment Questions
Q: My credit card does not work, why?
A: Our security protocol is very high on credit cards to safe guard our customers. The “Billed To” information must be the same as what is on your credit card statements. Common issues are incorrect address or postal/zip codes.
Q: Do I have to give my email and phone number?
A: Yes. We need this information for shipping.
Q: What other mode of payment are there?
A: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Custom invoice. If you need to use American Express please contact us and we can send an invoice by email.
Shipping Questions
Q: Where do you ship too:
A: We ship anywhere in Canada the USA and Worldwide. If you are making a purchase but your country is not represented in our shipping please contact us and we can provide you with a custom quote.
Q: What kind of shipping do you provide?
A: At this time we ship through Canada Post for all Canadian shipments. USA shipments are through Canada Post / USPS. A tracking number will be provided if “Tracked shipping” is selected.
Q: How long will it take to get my purchase?
A: Normally an estimated delivery time will be provided when you check your tracking number on Canada Post. These dates are subject to change when unforeseen circumstances happen. Ex. Weather, High volume time such as Christmas, postal strikes, pandemics, boarder closures. For our US and international customers please keep in mind that your package needs to pass through customs and this can slow your delivery down.
International Surface can take an estimated 3 to 4 month to arrive. (Shipping is done by boat)
International Air can take an estimated 4 weeks to arrive.
UK and Australia is taking longer than expected
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping prices will depend on where your purchase is going and if you pick tracking or untracked. When you provide your address in the “Cart” shipping options will be created for you to choose from.
Q: Do I have to pay Customs charges?
A: If you live in Canada you do not have to pay custom charges. Anyone living outside of Canada may have to pay any additional charges occurred by their customs agency. These charges will depend on product bought, state and federal tax laws and Duty and Tariff charges implemented by the US government. Q: Tracked vs Untracked
A: Tracked is faster, trackable and insured.
A: Untracked is slower, untraceable and not insured. A tracking number will not be provided. Untracked shipping is not covered by insurance and therefore not replaceable if lost or undelivered.
Q: Addresses
A: Make sure your shipping address is correct. It has to have all the information including phone number. If you package is sent back to us due to incorrect address you will have to pay for shipping again to have it sent back out. Please do not write funny quotes or messages in your addresses. We do not check the address to see if it is correct.
